Verbal Behavior Program (ABA/VB)
A common skill deficit for children with autism or similar disorders is language/communication. There is over 25 years of research to suggest that the early intervention of a behavior analysis program is the most effective and successful treatment. To review the research on ABA, click here.

Behavior Reduction Program
Behavioral Consulting develops behavior reduction programs for children who may or may not have a diagnosis but who engage in problem behavior. We conduct behavioral assessments in the home, school, or community setting to address a wide variety of disruptive behaviors. We determine the function of the inappropriate behavior through interviews, observation, and data collected and then teach a functional replacement behavior by utilizing both proactive and reactive strategies. Some examples of problem behavior include:
• Hitting
• Difficulty waiting or accepting "no"
• Kicking
• Noncompliance
• Biting
• Repetitive behaviors
• Scratching
• Difficulty with transitioning
• Urinating in public
• Lack of flexible thinking
